Relationship to the Master of Medicine

The certificate course is related to the two unit course in the Master of Medicine (Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine) IMED 7001. Students who wish to gain credit for this unit in the Masters will be required to complete the assessment requirements of the Masters under UQ assessment conditions.

Students will not be required to pay for this unit again and will need to inform the UQ Masters coordinator if they wish to seek recognition of prior learning (RPL) upon enrolling for the course. Doctors planning to study for the Masters degree but seeking a reduced study load initially will find this certificate program a useful option.
